GMC FABRICATIONS SERVICES

GMC Fabrication Services Ltd are able to offer a vast range of services. We are primarily a steel fabrication company, who specialise in the design, fabrication and installation of metal works, such as guards, staircases, balustrades, access platforms and many other associated metal works. We are able to provide these metal works in mild carbon steel, aluminium and stainless steel. We also specialise in the manufacture and installation of manual and automated access barriers, gates and bollards, as well as specialised pedestrian segregation systems.

Our Fabrication Workshop in Pontefract has a floor area of 4500Sq/m and we have the following machinery:

• 8 axis CNC 150tonne press brake with a 3.6m long bed
• Hi-speed mixed gas 3m x 1.5m CNC plasma profile machine capable of accurately cutting 1mm – 25mm mild steel
• 185amp AC/DC TIG welder, for TIG welding of mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel
• Various MIG welding machines from 200amp – 525amp capable of welding mild or stainless steel
• 150amp Synergic MIG welder, capable of welding aluminium, mild and stainless steel
• 415v 3 phase automatic band saw capable of cutting steel up to 300x300 square
• 415v 3 phase pillar drill capable of drilling 52mm diameter holes through steel
• Airless spray unit system for painting all fabricated metal works
• 4 dedicated welding areas with extraction and purpose built steel benches
